Spirits & Liqueurs Division
In 1972, Aurora started its portfolio of Spirits & Liqueurs by distributing the Schlichte Steinhäger brand, followed by Licor 43 in 1978, and, later, by Gabriel Boudier liqueurs in 1982, Carpano Punt & Mes and Fernet Branca in 1984, and Gekkeikan sakes in 1992.
As of 2001, when Aurora set up a team of experienced professionals in marketing of beverage alcohol, and created a specialized team for attention to retail sale points, this category has seen enormous growth, to become the company’s second largest division now. At the time, and due to this work, we attract brands such as Cuervo and Drambuie, which today are among the most important brands in this portfolio.
Starting in 2010, the management of the Spirits & Liqueurs Division became independent from the other divisions, as we believe in strategic differences in each category for the development of brands, consumers, points of retail sale and distribution. At the same time, it is our understanding that operational synergies should be kept for the benefit of all areas in the administrative framework, by sharing market information and know-how.
The Spirits & Liqueurs Division has now a portfolio with 15 brands, seven product categories and 15 exclusive professionals for brand building and development in the Brazilian market.
Its main goal is to focus on consolidating the current portfolio of brands, grow and seek further efficiency.
