The best-selling tequila in the world.
More than 200 years ago, Jose Antonio de Cuervo acquired from the King of Spain land enriched by the lava of the Tequila volcano, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. His aim was to cultivate the sacred Indian plant – the blue agave – on those lands rich in volcanic minerals and create a unique beverage in the world: the Cuervo tequila. To this day, in the same distillery, the Cuervo family continues to produce its surprising family of tequilas, appreciated worldwide.
